XOS is a carbohydrate with 2 to 7 D-xylose connected by β-1,4 glycosidic bonds into a main chain. As a new functional feed additive, it is an excellent substitute for antibiotics, improves animal intestinal function and enhances animal performance by activating intestinal microecology, and has the characteristics of no residue, no pollution and no drug resistance.
